American Outdoor Schools operates from the beginning of September to the end of May. We offer three, four, or five day programs at various camps from Southern California to Central Oregon.
Our program is offered between Monday and Friday each week, and all classes and activities are led by our trained outdoor education staff.
Natural science and environmental education topics are taught from a stewardship perspective, and subjects covered include: Botany, Ecology, Geology, Astronomy, Exploration, Survival, Sustainability, and outdoor recreation skills.
Our program offers your students an outdoor classroom where we promote an understanding of the natural world through hands-on experiences with nature, where direct experience and observation provide unique learning opportunities.
